Submit a new link to the directory
Rules for submitting free links to the directoryThere is no charge to submit links to the directory. All submissions to the directory are manually reviewed to verify they follow these simple rules. 99% of all submissions are rejected because they do not follow these rules, or because the submitters cheat in terms of the rules and linkbacks, and these submitters are banned and their information is added to the global ban list. If you submit your link, please make sure that you follow the rules, and your submission should be approved without a problem.1. The directory caters to the Calgary area, all links submitted need to be relevant to Calgary, either the business should be located in Calgary, or the products or services should be relevant to Calgary. 2. A linkback to the directory from the site you are submitting for inclusion is required. The code to link back to the site is provided below. 3. You do not need to link back from the same page that you submit to us, the link back can be on a different page. But if the link back to us is on your main page, then your site will be listed in our FEATURED list, which will put your site on the top of the category you are submitting to. If your link back is not on the main page, then your link will be included in the general section. 4. You may place the link back code on a "Links" page if you wish, but the page that contains the linkback must be accessable from your main page, either through a menu item, another link, or a sitemap. Do not put the link back in a page that is not accessable from your main web pages, if you do that, you will be banned, as this is considered cheating. 5. If you do not want to provide a link back, then you may purchase a paid Ad on the directory. 6. We validate all links in our directory once every 2 weeks, and after your site is approved, and we find that you have deleted the link back to the directory, the submitted link will be deleted. 7. Most important - DONT CHEAT!!! 8. It can take up to a week for your submission to be reviewed, as we review all submissions for quality and to make sure they follow the rules, and also review all existing links to check if they are still following the rules. 9. Make sure you select the correct category to submit to, if we think that there is another category that is more appropriate, we may change it when we review the link, but if we do that, we will notify you via email that the category has been changed. 10. There are 4 directories, and each one caters to a different area in Calgary, you may choose to submit to only one directory if your website caters exclusively to that area, or you may also submit to the other directories. If you do submit to the other directories, you DO NOT need seperate link backs for each directory, just one link back is sufficient (in other words, the one link back enables you to submit to all 4 directories, provided you use the link back code provided).
